Build your knowledge of architecture and explore the art, science, and importance of well-designed spaces with the November Catalyst session hosted by Perkins & Will. Students will gain a deeper appreciation for this dynamic field and enjoy a fun, educational activity led by volunteers from one of Atlanta’s most respected architecture and design firms. Participants will have the opportunity for a mini-tour of the firm’s award-winning building.

Gain insight about entrepreneurship from three accomplished firm leaders and entrepreneurs in the architectural and engineering fields. During this Catalyst Program, students will learn more about starting, managing, and growing their own firm from the owners of Goode Van Slyke Architecture, Shear Structural, and Hammond Engineering, and they'll enjoy a fun, hands-on activity. Attendees are welcome to stay past 12 pm for a brief office tour of our host firm, Goode Van Slyke Architecture.

Participants will enjoy insight about iconic architecture and an inspiring student activity from the architectural and design firm TVS during this Catalyst Program. We want to inspire your students to think brilliantly and design boldly with architecture! The iconic work of TVS can be found at the Chick-Fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, the King and Queen Towers along Interstate 285, the largest skyscraper under construction in Atlanta, and the new Tennessee Titans NFL Nissan Stadium. A tour of the TVS offices will follow this Catalyst Program.

Are you interested in real estate development or allied fields such as construction, civil engineering, architecture, and landscape architecture? The March 2026 Catalyst program in partnership with the real estate developer CIM Group will focus on real estate development and its Centennial Yards project. Now under construction, this ambitious project is expected to transform a 50-acre underutilized property in the heart of Downtown Atlanta into a thriving community featuring world-class residential, retail and entertainment attractions. Students will enjoy interesting insight to the real estate development field, a cool student activity, and an amazing view of the Centennial Yards project.
